Here you have the option to add single areas or grouped areas. Single areas could for example refer to a single city or country, whereas group areas could refer to a group of districts, countries or cities. Once your area is added, you will automatically be taken to this location on the map.
After adding your area(s), you can open the styling menu by clicking on the area. Here, you can change the transparency, color, stroke and add a pattern.
When you change the styling of a grouped area, you are always editing the whole group, unless you double click on a specific part of the area to make changes to this part only.
