Account settings

This documentation is always evolving.

This article focuses on Mapcreator Next and its features. For details about the previous version of Mapcreator, click here.

Your account settings can be accessed from the Mapcreator Next dashboard. If you have a project open, please first navigate to the dashboard by clicking on the home icon on the top left.




Click on the arrow next to the Mapcreator logo on the top left and select ‘’preferences’’ from the drop-down menu. Here you can find the following account settings:

Personal information: 

• Full name
• Company name
• Email address
  
  

Delete your account:

• The possibility to delete your Mapcreator account
  
  

Password: 

• Create a new password 

Subscription: 

• Manage your monthly subscription
  This only applies if you have purchased a Stripe subscription, this link will then bring you to the subscription in Stripe.

Preferences: 

• Unit (metric or imperial) 
• Language
• Video sound notifications (Notification sound when video download is complete) 
• What’s new notifications (Tool update notifications in the "What's New" section) 
• Auto-save
