Map with AI
Getting started with a map can sometimes be the hardest part. Our AI Map Assistant is designed to help kickstart your map project, turning your initial idea into a starting point you can build from.
Most importantly, though, the AI doesn't take over the editorial or design decisions. You stay in control of the story, the information, the visual design and every decision that makes the map yours.
Would you like to trial our assistant? Let us know!

The AI Assistant currently supports the following mapping capabilities. Open the beta widget in the bottom-right corner and try these example prompts to see it in action:
Plot points:
"Show 8 well-known castles in the Netherlands."
Highlight areas:
"Create a map of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Eindhoven."
Draw route:
"Show a route from Amsterdam to Brussels via Rotterdam and Antwerp, with the Netherlands and Belgium boundaries."
Create interactive popups:
"Create a map of Eindhoven and Maastricht with a short popup for each city."
Animate:
"Animate a cycling route from Schiphol Airport to the Rijksmuseum and hold on the museum at the end."

You can continue refining your map through the conversation with the AI Assistant.
For example, ask it to:
"Remove Rotterdam."
"Make the route dark blue."
"Add an animation that follows the route and ends at Maastricht."
"Replace this map with a route from Amsterdam to Brussels."
