How can I create a quick locator map?

You can create a map that highlights a specific area or event in two steps:

1. Choose a country, district, or any other administrative unit from the Areas menu.
2. Drag a textbox onto the map, and it will automatically display the name of the corresponding location, based on its position and the map’s zoom level.
   
   

You can also add final touches to your map with overlays or icons.
