In this article, you will learn how to add interactivity to all previously added annotations such as icons, lines or polygons.
To create a special experience for your online readers, you can make your maps – even those you initially created for print purposes – interactive. All previously added annotations such as icons, lines or polygons can include interactivity where you can add text, links, images or videos. To add interactivity, click on the interactivity tab of the annotation. Now you can write text, add a link or add an image.
If you want to add an image or video, you can simply paste the (publicly available) URL and define the properties such as size or further video settings.
To see how the pop-up is going to look like, click on the Preview button. To output your map, go to Export and click on the WEB output to receive an iframe and link.
