Can I make maps both for print and online publishing?

This documentation is always evolving.

Yes, Mapcreator Next offers the possibility to various different file formats that can be used for both print and digital publications. For print, we recommend using our PDF format in CMYK. For digital publications, we recommend using our SVG format. SVG is a vector source, in our case even a true vector. This means it can be enlarged without losing quality, and the file is layered like the layers list. This makes this format easily editable in Adobe like software.

Other static export formats include PNG and JPG in which you can set your custom DPI.

Please note that, for now, only static and interactive exports are supported in Mapcreator Next. The old version of Mapcreator supports animated maps too.
