One of the ways of highlighting certain areas on the map is to draw a circle. Follow the instructions below to learn how to add a true-distance radius circle.
When you have found the location that will be the center of your circle, go to the “add” section, and choose the “Line” tab, and then select “circle” option from the drop-down menu.
Choose the circle’s radius in kilometer, meter, nautical miles, miles and foot.
You can let the tool generate a circle from a location you manually select on the map.
To finish creating your circle, press “Enter” on your keyboard or click on “Finish”.
If you move your mouse over the circle and click on it, the style menu opens. You can now edit the color, transparency and the stroke color, and whether you want to display the radius line.
